Tony Denton of
ADDS UP Engineering has designed and constructed what he says
is an affordable mechanical agitator to mix gypsum, magnesium,
fertilizers and chemicals for injection into irrigation
systems.
Agitator
Highly
efficient, combined with spherical tank bottom. Will
hold product mix in suspension while mixing and
dissolving full 2000 litre capacity.
Impellors
Dual
S/S impellors, positioned to ensure complete product
mix.
Tank
2000l
UV stabilised translucent material for easy viewing of
content levels from outside the tank. The tank is calibrated.
Base
Hot
dipped galvanised steel base with large fork mounts for
ease of transportation.
Injection
System
Poly head pump that can handle up to
250psi and has dry
running design.
The
ADD-G-TATOR 2000
available in poly head or brass head construction. Poly pumps are rated up to 250psi, while the brass head is rated to 1000psi. The pumps are suitable for chemicals, slurries, abrasives and have dry running capabilities. When close coupled to the .55KW motor, it is capable of pumping between 3 and 10 litres per minute, with a 1.1kw motor - 28 litres per minute
The units
are designed with flexibility in mind. The power source can
be set up for single phase or three phase motors.
The
ADD-G-TATOR 2000 is a compact unit, measuring only 1.7
metres in diameter. Mounted on a strong galvanised steel
base with large fork lift mounts, the unit is easily manoeuvred,
lifted and transported.
